Trin's Halloween Costume 2010

Pointy Toes Are Back?!

I am so excited!!!!!!! Pointy toes are back! Flipping through the new ELLE, and there they were sexy, vampy, pointy pumps staring back at me. For me they never left. I absolutely love pointy toe shoes. Always have, always will. There is something so seductive and sexy about them. Ladies they make our feet appear slimmer than what they really are. Who doesn't love anything slimming?  Pointy toe stilettos can take any outfit from sad to sexy in seconds. Think Angelina Jolie and Erica Kane. Extra vampy - all you need are red lips. There is something so powerful about the pointy shoes and I'm not sure why. I always feel so strong and assertive in them. Here's some of my picks for Fall's sexy, seductive, vampy pointy toe trend:  Pumps Booties Slingbacks Flats Shoes from top left to bottom right: Kate Spade Lily Suede Pump, Charles David Loge Pump, Stuart Weitzman Naughty Pump, Guess Carrie Stiletto, Lovely People Piper Bootie, Loeffler Randall Electra Cut-Ou

Vouge 8647 (Cavalli)

Vouge 8647 (Cavalli) Originally uploaded by daisiduk1 I've been M.I.A. for a while. Between vacation and Summer, I haven't been updating like I should. Well, I'm back with a review of Vouge 8647 and Just Cavalli Fabric. I love this dress! I think the color may be a little off for my taste but I like the look of the dress. The pattern was super easy (even for me) and quick to make. I bought the Just Cavalli fabric from Mood Designer Fabric here in NYC. It is a cotton and lycra blend. The fabric was $20/yd and my first designer fabric ever. I obsessed over cutting it for at least a month or so. The fabric is perfect for draping as it moves so nicely. It looks great at any angle and has lots of flow to it. I wore this dress out to dinner with Mom for her birthday. She liked it so much, I might have to make one for her. It feels so good to be back!

Sex Addiction: Sex and the City 2 Review

Not sure where to start...this movie is amazing! The Sex, The City (I love my city!!!!) and of  course the fashion...... If you love magazines, glamour and fashion you will love Sex and the City 2. So much eye candy throughout the movie. The clothes are amazing of course, but the backdrops were styled to a tee! Each scene had the perfect everything that made you want to be there. Sand dunes, beaches, private jets, luxury suites with butler service, Maybachs, cabanas - one Vouge photo shoot after the next.. every detail was styled, even the luggage - I loved the luggage! The movie had so much "go girl" power in it. I love that the girls are still the same and have so much fun together. The comedic timing is perfect - Miranda and Charlotte discussing the trials of motherhood was hilarious! Samantha, is and always will be a sexy, confident, strong woman - she gets it in! Loved the gay fabness in the movie! So much fun! Okay let's get to the best part the fashion.....spee
